Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Na'Dra Hennington, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 351 hours of service consisting of a computer class which refines student's computer skills by teaching the history of computers, the fundamentals of typing and how to use proper research engines for research projects, provide structured time for students to learn how technology has impacted the world today; provide programming to students that will be challenging academically, but also involves stimulating hands-on activities, and, supervise a Garden Elective Class that promotes learning environmental sustainability and healthy community building by experiencing how to do weeding, plant seeds, transplanting, watering, and turning the soil and compost, at James Madison Middle School, for the period December 12, 2011 through June 22, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
