Title: Approval by the Board of Education of the acceptance of a grant for the 2013-14 school year from the Oakland Schools Foundation (the pass through agent), in the amount of $325,000.00, provided by the Rogers Family Foundation, for the purpose of continuing implementation of the "Blended Learning" computer based connected learning program which supports real time differentiation for individual students, and Amendment of the Agreement with Oakland Schools Foundation as follows: extending the term of the existing Agreement through the 2013-14 school year; add Edna Brewer and Bret Harte Middle Schools as participating pilot schools and provide for a District contribution of $125,000.00, for the 2013-14 fiscal year to be used for the purchase of student computers to support Blended Learning at the six District pilot schools. All other terms and conditions of the existing Agreement remain in full force and effect.
