Approval and support by the State Administrator of Grant Application to U.S. Department of Education seeking funding to support reading skill development at named middle school sites - Alliance Academy, Bret Harte, Elmhurst Community, Explore College Prep, Frick, Madison, Melrose Leadership, Montera, Roots International Middle Schools - in the amount of $566,868 for the period July 1, 2008 thru June 30, 2013 and, if granted, in whole or in part, acceptance of same pursuant to terms and conditions thereof, if any.
