Ratification by State Administrator of a Professional Services Contract between District and the Bay Area Coalition for Equitable Schools (BayCES), for the latter to provide instructional coaching in math and English language arts, instructional and facilitative leadership development, data based inquiry training, cultural competence training, equity-centered professional learning community (ECPLC) development, school design, and coach development services to enhance the capacity of the Network Executive Officers, Principals, Teachers, and School Communities to dramatically improve educational experiences, outcomes, and life options for students and families in Oakland, for 40 days of BayCES coaching at Youth Empowerment School (YES) for the period of July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008 in an amount not to exceed $32,000.00.
