Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Zerita N. Dotson, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 205.92 hours as Intervention Coach to create lessons and design related activities in small group settings to maximize students who have Limited English Proficiency skills to better understand, improve, enhance and empower students to achieve higher skill levels and test better, and, for those students who have mastered basic English Language Learning but need attention to broaden their cognitive skills, provide grammar, writing and communication activities that will enhance students learning abilities enabling them to further improve their English Learning Arts, and also maintain a safe learning environment, support core teaching staff, and collect data relevant to student accomplishments, meet with students in small groups of 3-5 students or one-to-one per 40 minutes sessions, 6 hours per day during the school for 3 days a week for a total of 18 hours per week, for the period December 8, 2009 through June 14, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $7,207.00.
