Title: That the Board of Education directs staff to: (1) immediately commence and complete a seismic review analysis of the facility located at 2111 International Boulevard; (2) work with the Life Academy community to relocate Life Academy High School from its present location at 2111 International Boulevard to either the Calvin Simmons Campus or to the Harper Building; (3) work closely with the Life Academy school leadership and the school leadership of United for Success, Peralta Creek and/or Met West High School to develop and implement the relocation plans; and (4) by October 29th to have staff present to the Board of Education recommendations for the permanent and suitable siting of Life Academy High School within the Oakland High School attendance area, including identifying (a) description of the Life Academy's programmatic needs; (b) identifying the physical location of the site; and (c) identify the financing plan for the construction and/or renovation of Life Academy Hi...
