Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Oakland Public Education Fund, Oakland, CA, for the latter to hire Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Coaches to conduct one to one interventions with students, facilitate drug intervention groups with three to five students, participate in Coordination of Services Meetings for referrals, support with classroom presentations (as requested) to promote services, conduct school-wide outreach (e.g. tabling at a health fair), and attend all TUPE Coach meetings and trainings and manage student caseloads of up to 10 per school, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of September 1, 2025 through May 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $258,079.76.
