Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Attitudinal Healing Connection, Inc., Oakland, CA for the latter to provide 201 hours of service to engage the seventh and eighth grade teachers in hands-on visual art professional development, side by side in the classroom with students for the school year; assisting teachers to become skilled in visual art concepts, tools, language and techniques, and to gain strategies on how to integrate the arts into the core academic curriculum; and provide entire teaching staff one visual art professional development workshop for an introduction of the arts integrated curriculum, at West Oakland Middle School, for the period October 15, 2010 through June 30, 2011, in an amount not to exceed $15,080.00.
