Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Youth Together, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 160 hours of service, which includes providing evidence of: 1) monthly youth planning sessions, such as documentation of meeting by providing agendas and sign in sheets, 2) conference materials, such as workshop schedule and program, registration outreach packet, registration spreadsheet, workshop presenters’ spreadsheet, list of volunteers, list of donations secured and T-shirt design, 3) conference evaluation survey and completed surveys, 4) 300 reserved registration seats for OUSD students, 5) designated youth coordination/leadership roles for eight All City Council students, and 6) minimum of 10 health/wellness and tobacco/alcohol/substance abuse workshops for the period February 16, 2010 through June 30, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $8,000.00.
