Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2026-2027 by and between the District and Elevate Oakland, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide up to 500 hours of music instruction and programming for up to 90 students at Castlemont High School, Oakland Technical High School, and Elmhurst Middle School over a 30-week period, two days a week, for up to two hours, focusing on music education, creative expression, skill development, performance preparation services and provide students an opportunity to showcase their work through performances at events such as the Oakland Creative Expo, the East Oakland Vocal Fest, and other school and community-based performance opportunities as they become available, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 3, 2026 through June 30, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $70,000.00.
