Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Museum of Children's Art, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 200 hours of one on one and small group coaching in curriculum writing and delivery, including coaching sessions that include collaborative planning, model teaching and co-teaching of lessons, as well as after school and summer professional development workshops; provide teachers with strategies to acelerate Title 1 student learning in ELA, math, history and science; prepare the materials and plan for the coaching sessions at ASCEND Elementary School, for the period of November 23, 2009 through June 30, 2010, in an additional amount not to exceed $10,000.00, increasing contract not to exceed amount from $14,000.00 to $24,000.00. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
