Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and HERO, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a structured recess program leading organized games and activities to enhance student engagement, reduce conflicts, and create a safe, inclusive playground environment for students; actively supervise recess, guide students in conflict resolution, and promote teamwork; provide Young HERO Program, a daily leadership initiative focused on responsibility, inclusion, and fair play, to upper grade students; and facilitate monthly student leadership workshops to build skills in communication, inclusion, and conflict resolution at International Community School, for the period of August 11, 2025 through May 28, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $47,500.00.
