Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and the Center for Culturally Responsive Teaching & Learning, Inglewood, CA, for the latter to provide 3 additional hours of professional development to teachers K-12, in the area of cultural and linguistic knowledge of underserved populations in the District in order to give students access to grade level content standards and increase success; through professional development input sessions, teachers will be taught how to incorporate culturally and linguistically appropriate strategies in their content lessons in order for students to gain access to the curriculum and increase engagement and learning, in the additional amount of $2,250.00, increasing contract not to exceed amount from $25,500.00 to $27,750.00, for the period August 30, 2010 through June 17, 2011. All other terms and conditions of the contract remain in full force and effect.
