Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Shirley Yee, Oakland, CA, for the latter to be responsible for the overall project management of the Office of Alternative Education's Measure Y Gang Prevention grant. Specific duties include the following: 1) Outreach and coordination for 33 gang awareness training to Oakland schools and partner agencies; 2) Oversight, outreach and coordination for Parent Workshop Series; 3) Data collection and reporting as required for program evaluation and grant reporting; 4) Coordination and facilitation of quarterly interagency Gang Prevention Collaboratives; and 5) Quarterly presentation to local Neighborhood Crime Prevention Councils, for the period September 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $23,400.00.
