Ratification by the State Administrator of Professional Services Contract between District and Julia DeGuzman, for the latter to build a school community that includes parents/guardians as vital participants in enhancing the educational and social environment, including outreach plan that: creates a link between the school and families: develops and solicit ideas for activities that includes families and encourage them become part of the school community; develop and intervention program with staff to help students in need of extra attention to succeed in school and provide a translation and interpretation service; develop and distribute multilingual newsletters or bulletins and other public relations media, encouraging teachers and staff to contribute information to share with families; create and maintain databases to distribute media and encourage and support the growth and effectiveness of the Wellness Center, as described in the Scope of Work and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Oakland High School, for the period July 15, 2008 through June 30, 2009 at a cost not to exceed $40,000.00.
