Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Hatchuel Tabernik & Associates, for the latter to provide 116 hours of grant writing services (needs assessment, convening meeting with collaborative partners, writing and grant submission) to allow District to submit an application for the federal GEAR-UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Program) Program, enabling the District to build a systemic and sustainable model of case management, student supports, family engagement, and ability to track and update best practices, allowing substantial increase in intervention and counseling services, aimed toward early interventions, increased graduation rates, increased college going rates and increased college success rates, for the period August 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $7,192.00.
