Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Refugee & Immigrant Transitions, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide daytime mentorship support for newcomer students at Castlemont High School 3 days a week, delivering interpretation and translation assistance for Mam and Spanish speaking students, families, and school staff; school-day mentorship with a focus on attendance, grades, family resources, and other adjustments to life in Oakland so students remain on-track for graduation; and provide targeted outreach to increase newcomer student participation in college, career, and post-secondary activities and resources at Castlemont High School, for the term October 6, 2025, through June 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $61,000.00.
