Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2024-2025 by and between the District and Rodney Taylor, Riverside, CA, for the latter, in the absence of a Nutrition Services Director, to oversee field operations to ensure effective support during staffing shortages; improve communication among supervisors; establish a comprehensive list of employees that should use the Titan system, detailing their roles and holding each accountable for the daily tasks to optimize system performance; increase transparency across department, ensuring that staff are informed about the developments that affect their work; provide on-site support for audit preparation, focusing on operational reviews and solution development; optimize site production records, staff training, and communication regarding substitutes, recipe changes and new menu items; assess and adjust staffing levels at all sites to ensure adequate coverage for program requirements; cause regular information sharing, report-outs and updates to ensure all staff align with current tasks and initiatives; promote respectful communication and office etiquette contribution to a positive work environment, particularly in high-traffic areas; provide or offer comprehensive training on the state audit process, including implications of passing or failing; and improve departmental communication through regular emails, quick updates and inclusive discussions, especially during staff absences, via the Nutrition Services Department, for the period of October 15, 2024 through June 30, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $86,400.00.
