Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2024-2025 by and between the District and Youth Uprising, Oakland, CA, for the latter to work with the Castlemont High School Care Team to engage fifty to sixty students per year who display risk factors and are in the middle or high end of the adolescent risk continuum; work with students individually, small groups that conduct prevention discussions and programs; work with participants', school staff and other support service professionals, ensuring a continuum of care approach; work with staff to promote diversity, equity and inclusion while supporting in school suspension and work with youth who are interested in exploring and learning more about other ethnicities and cultures; promote Educational trips to allow for well-rounded experience in violence and substance abuse prevention at Castlemont High School, from September 1, 2024, through January 31, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
