Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Brooklyn Williams, Oakland, CA, for the latter to assist staff efforts to build adult capacity to actively engage students in social and emotional learning by: 1) providing technical assistance to teachers implementing social and emotional learning; 2) modeling lesson plans in the classroom for teacher observation; and 3) coordinating intentional site partnership/ collaboration between teachers and other staff at least two days a week for a total of 200 hours, at Barack Obama Academy, for the period September 2, 2013 through June 13, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $16,000.00.
