Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and East Bay Asian Youth Center, Oakland, CA, for the latter to partner with school staff to provide additional attendance support, including weekly attendance data analysis to identify students who are at risk of chronic absenteeism, case managing students/families who need additional attendance support and support accessing community resources; facilitate monthly attendance raffles and virtual assemblies to celebrate positive attendance at Garfield Elementary School, for the period of September 1, 2020 through May 28, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $91,000.00.
