Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Amber Valdez, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 210 hours to co-facilitate and coordinate the school Grade Level Expansion Team, monitor and support execution of grade level expansion workplan, deliverables, and goals, and monitor and support alignment of grade level expansion with Community Schools Strategic Site Plan and District Strategic Plan, participate in District trainings and meetings on grade level expansions, partner with District leaders to coordinate and support grade level expansion, as necessary, facilitate and participate in planning and informational meetings with principal and other school leadership, facilitate and support research and resource development, and community outreach in service of grade level expansion, at Greenleaf Elementary School, for the period January 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $12,000.00.
