Title
Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and the California Emerging Technology Fund, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide 200.5 hours of service including School2Home providing four days or 24 hours of professional development on designing and using curriculum that uses one to one laptops in the classroom and at home to support and enhance education; provide training for parents to support their children's school work and to communicate electronically with the school; provide professional development to up to 10 teachers as train-the-trainers to help parents use the laptops to communicate with teachers, track student attendance and grades; provide professional development of 10 teachers and support to prepare them to mentor and support their colleagues as Instructional Technology Champions; and provide 40 hours of teacher online support through webpage resource building and direction by online consultation throughout the school year via the LCI Division for Frick and Madison Middle Schools, for the period November 16, 2011 through September 30, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $24,000.00.
