Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Catholic Charities of the East Bay, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide, train and support a team of three Clinical Case Managers to serve six (6) high school sites and, in partnership with Restorative Justice (RJ) Facilitators, provide a minimum of (2) 10-12 week trauma education groups for students suspended for violence related incidents per semester; provide more intensive, clinician group treatment to students impacted by trauma; collect and enter data on student participation and outcomes to document progress on reducing recidivism in suspension for violence related incidents and provide training on TGCTA and ITCT-A interventions to District staff including RJ Facilitators and mental health providers, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of November 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $279,954.00.
