Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2023-2024 by and between the District and Elevate Oakland, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide an Artists in Residence Program in partnership with school staff and administration for the academic school year, integrating the Elevate Oakland Artists in Residence (AiR) Program with the existing instrumental music curriculum, focusing on musical performing arts spanning a variety of instruments and genres as units throughout the school year, including but not limited to guitar, drums/ percussion, brass, violin and vocal performance, providing 250-300 hours of instruction and mentorship to 100-150 students across 4-6 classes throughout the course of the school year at Elmhurst United Middle School, for the period of September 5, 2023 through May 15, 2024, in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00.
