Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Clement Mok, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 1500 hours as the Intervention Specialist, who will implement and deliver effective and coherent instructional English Language intervention programs, through teachers' collaborative efforts and through data reflected in the CST & benchmark data; execute quarterly small group or individual tutorial and after school tutorial as mirrored with the teachers' quarterly goals; cause consultant's group of students to participate actively in the school's STAR Readers program and work in collaboration with the school librarian; counsel identified students challenged with the above description, as well as work with targeted students during the Spring School and the Summer Learning at Bella Vista Elementary School, for the period of October 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $69,000.00.
