Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Professional Services Agreement between District and Jeffery Wong Architects, Oakland, CA, for the latter to meet with the Division of State Architect (DSA) to clarify the course of action for certifying the existing non-conforming building for use as a K-12 facility; to evaluate the building for accessibility and fire life safety referring to the new 2007 CBC for newly intended use; to evaluate the facility for the various disciplines including structural, mechanical, and electrical systems to create an Evaluation and Criteria Report for required submittal to DSA for its review and approval in conjunction with the Oakland Adult Education Technology Center (AETC) Project (aka, Life Academy) for the period commencing July 16, 2008 and concluding no later than July 16, 2009 in an amount not to exceed $170,000.00.
