Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Playworks, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide organized & structured play before school , during school, and sports opportunities for all students; work with school to foster safe & healthy habits of play; support the school by providing organized free choice play activities before school (8:00 AM-8:30 AM) such as non-competitive sports, physical activities that promote healthy active lifestyle; and provide other programs and services, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Manzanita Community Elementary School, for the period of August 25, 2014 through June 12, 2015, in an amount not to exceed
