Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Spanish Speaking Unity Council, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide support for up to ten OUSD Alumni Highway to Work participants with on the job training; identify a staff person for Highway to Work to work closely with OUSD staff to define the goals of the program and partnership, identify the students who will receive Unity Council support, conduct orientation for students, enroll each student in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA); determine eligibility and secure benefits and services for students; work with OUSD to create a reciprocal referral process and data sharing system to track student progress and services, via Adult and Career Education Department, for the period of November 3, 2025 through June 30, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
