Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Amber Valdez, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 218 hours to co-facilitate and coordinate Sankofa Academy's grade level expansion team; monitor and support execution of grade level expansion work plan, deliverables, and goals, and monitor and support alignment of grade level expansion with CSSSP and District's strategic plan; participate in District trainings and meetings on grade level expansion and partner with District leaders to coordinate and support grade level expansion as necessary; facilitate and participate in planning and informational meetings with principal and other leaders; facilitate and support research, resource development, and community outreach in service of grade level expansion, at Sankofa Academy, for the period January 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $12,000.00.
