Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Oakland California Youth Outreach-Oakland, (OCYO) Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide on-site mentoring, gang intervention, case management, and social services coordination to Latino boys, with a particular focus on a caseload of 15 youths; staff member will serve on the weekly Coordination of Services Team, meet weekly with students on his caseload for mentoring sessions and check-ins, support teachers and staff with student mediation and redirection, connect students to high-leverage community-based services (enrichment, health, job and other services) and provide individual and group-based coaching for gang at-risk youth, at Oakland International High School, for the period December 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $8,000.00.
