Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 - Professional Services Contract between District and Pamela Bovyer, Castro Valley, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 208 hours of support, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, for private schools administrators in processing and completing compliant Title I and Title II Program plans, selection of service providers, 2010-11 consultation process and private schools requirements and process for participating in the NCLB Program, provide support for the Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) initiative that includes developing a comprehensive reference manual and timeline for use by district staff (both site and central administration), provide support of the development and submission of mandated Improving Teacher Quality (ITQ) program, and development, review, and implementation of on-line Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) instrument, as specified in Contract, at Office of State and Federal Compliance, in compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines, for the period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, in an additional amount of $12,480.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $7,500.00 to $19,980.00.  All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
