Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and Refugee Transitions, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide after school programming for up to 40 students at Roosevelt Middle School and to teach two (2) sections of ESL to District refugee and immigrant parents (during school year as well as summer school) at Franklin Elementary School and Oakland International High School, reaching more than 100 students from over 10 countries, for the Family, School, and Community Partnerships Department, for the period of October 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, in the additional amount of $56,000.00, increasing the not to exceed amount of Contract from $5,000.00 to $61,000.00. All other terms and conditions of Contract remain in full force and effect.
