Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Peacemeakers, Inc., San Leandro, CA, for the latter to provide 1,432.5 hours of service to Focal Students identified by the administrator and teacher who scored lowest on District and state assessments and would benefit from one-to-one and small group intervention, a staff made up of a Peacemakers Site Coordinator, an Academic Mentor 1, and Academic Mentor 2 and an Academic Mentor 3, to provide "Pull Out' classroom support - one-to-one academic tutoring support provided for targeted students in their most challenging classes - and Pull Out Literacy support - small group literacy support provided for targeted students - at East Oakland Pride Elementary School, for the period May 1, 2012 through June 15, 2012, in a not to exceed amount of $28,650.00.
