Approval by the Board of Education of an Educational Organization Contract between District and Mission Springs-Christian Camps and Conference Center, Scotts Valley, CA, for the latter to provide lodging, meals and in an environmental education center environment led by trained educators for District pupils of various schools on education field trips - up to three days - accompanied by staff and chaperones, not possible in a traditional classroom, including science lessons and activities that teach and reinforce concepts including nature hikes, lessons in the organic garden and viewing of the night sky, aligned with California State Science Standards, as specified in Contract, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, for the period January 2010 as noted in site-specific Conference Confirmation through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $76,400.00 each fiscal year.
