Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and California Youth Outreach-Oakland, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide the following services as part of the Measure Y Juvenile Justice Wraparound Grant: 1) Facilitate Re-Entry Welcome Circles for 36 youth clients at alternative schools using Restorative Justice principles; 2) Create service plans including goals and action plans through Multidisciplinary Team process for 36 youth clients; 3) Provide case management for 36 youth for a minimum of 90 days; 4) Provide gang ReDirect life skills classes at 3 alternative schools- Community Day School, Barack Obama, and Rudsdale; 5) Provide leadership diversion activities for clients; and 6) Participate in monthly case management conference meetings, Juvenile Justice Center employment meetings, and quarterly interagency Gang Prevention Collaborative meetings; each of the foregoing as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein ...
