Title
Approval by the Board of Education of Professional Service Contract between District and Jenny Riester Graham, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 880 hours of service in weekly individual meetings with all new teachers to coach them on implementing socially and emotionally appropriate curriculum; conduct monthly meetings with all mental health intervention specialists and teachers to discuss behavior interventions, counseling techniques, and how to create a therapeutic milieu; provide full-day trainings three or more times during the year for social workers, teachers and Intervention Specialists (IS's) to improve behavior management systems, therapeutic relationships and create emotionally appropriate curriculum; provide training and mentoring in best practices for instruction of students with mental health needs to teachers, para-educators, and social workers and provide other services as described in the SOW, incorporated and referenced herein as though fully set forth, for Programs for Exceptional Children, for the period of July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $60,500.00.
