Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Change Order No. 2, Agreement Between Owner and Contractor by and between the District and Silicon Valley Paving, Inc., San Jose, CA, for additional construction services to repair approximately 3,520 square feet of damaged asphalt near the Boy's Gym, including off haul soil, tack-coating the edges of the existing asphalt and pave with 1/2-inch hot mix asphalt, followed by rolling for compaction to achieve a smooth and even finish for the Oakland Technical High School Asphalt Replacement Project, in the amount of $29,884.00*, increasing the Agreement price not-to-exceed amount from $559,716.00 to $589,599.00. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect. ____ *A painting contractor damaged the new asphalt while using a boom to paint the exterior of the gym. The painting contractor has agreed to a charge back.
