Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Safe Passages, Oakland, CA, for the latter to support family engagement by providing technical assistance to staff and resources to parents, with a focus on behavioral health and well-being for the school year 2025 to 2026, including organizing a workshop series where parents learn about different resources that respond to their needs, receive guidance on how to navigate various systems (social services, medical, CalWORKs/ CalFresh, financial Aid), and spaces that celebrate cultural diversity including organizing 4 cultural events where families can rebuild / reconnect with the community (their own and the bigger community as immigrants) at Oakland International High School, for the period of October 15, 2025, through May 27, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $2,700.00.
