Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Eccleston Wendell Wainwright, Oakland, CA, for for the latter to provide 105 hours to engage students in activities that promote awareness of the arts, resulting in student appreciation of the arts, career exploration, and its relationship to daily living; as well as, improved self-esteem, confidence, and pride in self; use the integration of the arts (i.e. instrumental and/or vocal music, dance, drama, and/or spirit team) to achieve this objective; coordinate and participate in assemblies and other related activities; and assist administrator in program coordination at Burckhalter Elementary School for the period of July 2, 2012 through July 31, 2012 in an amount not to exceed $4,200.00.
