Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and "Attitudinal Healing Connection, Inc.", Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide: 1 Artist in Residence at West Oakland Middle School to use the side-by side professional development model (Services will be provided for 2 classroom teachers and 60 students); provide 2 Artists in Residence at Martin Luther King Elementary (Services will be provided for 2 teachers and 40 students, with an in-depth focus on students in Special Education); 2 Artists in Residence at Lafayette Elementary (Services will be provided for 3 teachers and 75 students); 3 Artists in Residence at Hoover Elementary (Services will be provided for 3 teachers and 75 students); and in-depth curriculum development and planning for the West Oakland Legacy Project for a total of 633.3 hours, via the Teaching and Learning Department, for the term October 26, 2016 through June 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $47,500.00.
