Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 of Professional Services Contract between the District and PMA Consulting, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 87 hours of direct services to small groups of students using the Media Center materials as resources; work with small group of students in how to do research using library resource materials; small groups of students will read specific literature selections and discuss them with the consultant; use the computer to differentiate instruction and provide opportunities for students to practice basic English Language Arts skills; serve on the Media Center Committee to help formulate the school Media Center Plan for the period August 31, 2009 through June 17, 2010, at Laurel Elementary School, in an additional amount of $2,288.10, increasing the original contract not to exceed amount from $22,999.41 to $25,287.50. All other terms and conditions of contract remaining in full force and effect.
