Approval by the Board of Education of Memorandum of Understanding, No Cost between the District and Phoebe Diamond, Oakland, CA, for the latter to teach students in grades 3 - 5 a variety of techniques for creating visual art, including but not limited to collage (2 and 3 dimensional), painting (watercolor and acrylic), construction of medium to small size dioramas using a variety of materials; teach art history where students will learn about a range of artists who represent the diversity of the community and sewing classes where students learn how to draft patterns. follow patterns, sew by hand and machine, which develops many mathematical and executive function skills at Chabot Elementary School, via the Community Schools and Services Department, for the period of December 2, 2019 through December 1, 2022, at no cost to the District.
