Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Center for Adolescent Studies, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide four 4-hour trainings of mindfulness techniques developed to build resilience in youth that is grounded in Restorative Practices and Trauma-Informed Care for OUSD Intervention Coaches who educate OUSD secondary students about how to quit tobacco use, classroom and assembly anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs (ATOD) awareness sessions for students violating OUSD tobacco/drug free policies, and other services and/or responsibilities , as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 22, 2016 through June 8, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $3,500.00.
