The Governing Board's primary responsibility, among others, is to ensure that every student served by the District is well educated and demonstrates high academic achievement. The seven voter elected Board members currently hold full power in the areas of Community Relations and Governance, Personnel Management and Facilities Management; advisory status in the areas of Pupil Achievement and Financial Management.
