Construction – Roosevelt Middle School Modernization
Project– Division of Facilities Planning and
Management
Approval by the Board of Education, upon recommendation by the Facilities
Committee, of the Award of a Lease-Leaseback Agreement by and
between the District and Overaa Construction, Richmond, CA, for the latter
to provide preconstruction service which consists of site evaluation,
constructability reviews, value engineering, coordination meetings,
scheduling, cost estimates and construction planning, for the Roosevelt
Middle School Modernization Project, in the total amount of $250,000.00,
which includes a not-to-exceed amount of $75,000 for Owner’s
contingency allowance and a not-to-exceed amount of $44,893.00 for
Additive Alternates, with work scheduled to commence on June 22, 2023,
and scheduled to last until December 30, 2024, pursuant to the
Lease-Leaseback Agreement.
