Participants in the Local Plan Review Process: Alan Pursell, Sheila Hubbard, Carmen Gómez-Mandic, Oscar López, Ismael Armendariz, Lisa Rasler, Clio Rasler, Kristen Zimmerman
Participants will present their questions and comments for the following sections and subsections: (20 minutes)
SECTION ONE: Governance and Administration
SECTION TWO: Policies, Procedures, and Programs
SECTION THREE: Administration of Regionalized Operations
Ø Implementation of the Local Plan, Identification, Assessment, Procedural Safeguards, Staff Development, Parent & Guardian Education, Curriculum, Program Review/Evaluation/Accountability, Data Collection and Management
Ø Coordination with other agencies and institutions, local plan reporting, support for the CAC, transportation, career/vocational/transition services, fiscal administration, instructional support provided by program specialists
SECTION FOUR: Special Education Local Plan Services
Ø Early Childhood Education, Process to Address Questions and Concerns from the Public/Parents/Guardians, Process for Referring Students for Special Education, Process for Placement and IEP Support in Nonpublic Schools, Process for Providing Special Education to Students Age 18 to 22 in County Jail
