Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Swun Math, LLC, Cypress, CA, for the latter to increase student achievement in mathematics through the development and implementation of daily math models for grades TK-5 students with key features including a pacing guide utilizing Swun math CCS Lessons, common pre-and post-trimester exams, teaching strategies (Phase I lesson design/ Phase II Inquiry based Instruction, group work techniques, academic language development, writing skills, etc.), and monthly coaching support by contractor for both teachers and principals at Futures and Community United Elementary Schools, for the period of October 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $230,100.00.
