Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Cindy Oludayo, Oakland , CA, for the latter to work collaboratively with Brewer administrators, teachers and other community members to increase parent/family engagement, specifically families of students of color; plan and facilitate meetings; create agenda; identify key stakeholders to participate in meetings; organize events; utilize different means of advertising to families: newsletter, robocall, home visits, flyers, handouts, meet and greet families before and after school, attend school events to advertise; work to connect families with other community base organizations and resources; set up focus groups; work with PTSA to create equity driven events at Edna Brewer Middle School, for the period of August 12, 2019 through February 28, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $4,104.00.
