Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Contract between the District and Juan Quintana, Oakland, CA, for the latter to increase service by 1 day, from 3 to 4 days, per week, to provide, daily support groups and individual assistance to "at promise" students; continual contacting parents of students by phone and home visits; professional development for staff in understanding the issues of K-5 at promise students and how these issues can be addressed during the school day; and parent workshops in primary languages on how parents can improve student academic and social skills, in the additional amount of $10,000.00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $45,000.00 to $55,000.00, at Franklin Elementary School, for the period of August 12, 2019 through May 28, 2020 and COVID Amendment. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
